Lymington Flower Club

The Lymington Flower Club was founded nearly 60 years ago and we still have some of the founders members with us. With over 60 members we are a florishing flower club (a member of Wessex & Jersey Area of NAFAS) We meet in the Lymington Community Centre on the first Monday of the Month and we welcome visitors. We have a flower arranging demonstration with tea, biscuits and chat afterwards. We also run a series of workshops through out the year. Many of our members have won medals at Chelsea and we have won many competitions both Nationally and locally But you don not have to be a flower arranger just come along and enjoy the beauty of flowers. Tel Janice Viveash Chairman on 01590 67 34 30 for furhter details.

The Lymington Flower Society did the Community Rail Partnership proud at the event in May to mark the withdrawal of the last UK slam doors mainline with displays that really lit up Lymington Town Station in the heritage colours of red, green and cream that still apply to this line, even with the newer rolling stock taking us into the future to sustain the line.

The CRP would like to express its heart felt thanks to all the hard work the ladies put into raising money for the flowers and for the inspired displays themselves…..

Brilliant job, thank you all so much.
